Post OCT updates:

First, I read The next Tsunami: Living on a restless coast, and then promptly bought it for both my mom and dad, who both lived in Alaska (they hadn't met and married yet, though..) at the time of the 1964 Earthquake.  I loved the book and was pleasantly surprised.  It's non-fiction and tells a great story while it intertwines information about Geology and the history of earthquakes/Tsunamis on the Western coast.  I'd highly recommend it!

Third, I heard from the State of Oregon today about the idea of making t-shirts, hiking stick medallions, etc. for those who finish the trail.  They are in the process of updating the signage/logo and I am SO EXCITED!!  I'd love to get this off the ground, but I'm more than willing to wait and do it right!  Once there is info to share about this, I'll post it here!
